Diagnosis: Heartbreak

Description

A fashionable Moscow surgeon, a brilliant diagnostician with an appointment list booked a year in advance, suddenly faces serious trouble - he is accused of a patient’s death. At the same time, a nurse brings her gravely ill younger sister to Moscow, hoping for a diagnosis. The surgeon is her last chance. But he has no time for them, as he struggles to prove his innocence, confronts everyone, and ends up being fired. He falls into a deep crisis, trying to drown it in alcohol. His beloved leaves him, colleagues betray him, and his career hangs by a thread. On top of it all, he begins to experience strange symptoms. A close friend, a psychotherapist, takes him to a small provincial town for recovery.
